Recommendation To All CA Students
Before taking the ICAI Exams, students must attempt the RTPs from the previous two years. These RTPs are offered by ICAI for the full curriculum review. You should try for answering to the questions in the RTPs after finishing a specific course. A fresh series of questions in these RTPs will assist you in assessing your own performance.

How are the Revision Test Papers (RTPs) made available to CA students?
RTPs are available on the BoS Knowledge Portal, which is web-hosted. You can visit the appropriate subject page in the BoS Knowledge Portal and click on RTP. Furthermore, RTPs can also be found on CDS if you desire to order a copy of it.
When is the printed copy of RTP posted to students without charges?
Students receive a printed copy of the RTP for intermediate and final courses for their first eligible attempt, irrespective of their application status for the examination. This copy is typically dispatched about a month ahead of the examination date.
Should your examination attempt not be your first eligible one, you are required to order a physical copy of the RTP via CDS, accompanied by the appropriate payment. Alternatively, you may download the RTP that is hosted on the BoS Knowledge Portal.
What information does the RTP contain which is not covered in the Study Materials?
The RTP features the Statutory Update in the areas of law and taxation, which includes amendments that are applicable for the upcoming examination and are not discussed in the relevant edition of the Study Material for that examination. In addition, the RTP addresses developments in other subjects that are significant for examination purposes. It is vital for you to examine the RTP, as these updates are applicable to the relevant examination.
How are the questions given in the RTP helpful for examination purposes?
By tackling the questions outlined in the RTP on your own and then comparing your responses with the answers included, you will be in a position to assess your examination readiness. Additionally, responding to these questions will facilitate a review of the concepts and provisions related to the relevant subjects.
Does the RTP reflect the question paper pattern of actual examination?
No, the RTP does not represent the actual examination’s question paper format. Mock Test Papers (MTPs) will provide you with an understanding of the paper structure.
Are RTPs available in Hindi for students who have opted for Hindi medium?
Yes, The RTPs in Hindi can be accessed via the BoS Knowledge Portal. To prepare for the May 2026 examination, please visit the relevant subject page on the BoS Knowledge Portal, click on RTP, and then select May 2026 Hindi Medium.
